Astronomy Rambles & Supper
Details
Martin Lunn MBE is back due to popular demand! This time, with a totally different talk on The Great Northern Eclipse. Martin will be delivering a fantastic Astronomy Rambles talk, and as a self-proclaimed entertainer and educator simultaneously, we’ll hear a fascinating talk about The Great Northern Eclipse. You’ll enjoy two delicious, hearty courses, that will warm you through as we approach the winter months, so we can enjoy a cosy night in at the Mill with fantastic food and fantastic company! Martin Lunn MBE, who from 1989 until 2011, was Curator of Astronomy at the Yorkshire Museum, is an Astronomy expert. He was presented with an MBE for services to astronomy and education, he is a Fellow of the Royal Astronomical Society and has served a term on the council. He also presents lectures on cruise ships all over the world, and to various clubs and societies at home! Martin is the ultimate Astronomy expert, and we can’t wait for him to deliver a talk on the 1927 total eclipse of the sun, which was a rare and amazing sight observable from North Wales to the North East coast of England! We look forward to this exciting, interesting, and informative event with Martin Lunn MBE, and we can’t wait to see you all there!
