A traditional village Agricultural Show, with Classes for Shire horses, Beef Cattle; Commercial and Jacob Sheep; Rare Breeds Sheep, Ponies, Hunters, Unaffiliated Show Jumping and Gymkhana. We have a very busy Arts & Crafts Section and Horticulture and Agriculture Marquee as well. With over twenty Craft Stalls and sixty or so assorted Trade Stands to look round, including rides for children and refreshments, there is something for everyone. Trying to win £100 in the Sheaf Tossing Competition is great fun. Displays throughout the day around the Showfield vary but may include displays by Andy Brook and his Gun Dog display, the Hawks of Steele from Newark, and the ferrets from Ferret World, most including visitor participation, plus the East Yorkshire Dog Agility Club display and Dog Show – it is all good entertainment.
